Joseph A Afflitto, MBA, BS, RRT, RPSGT, CPFT I am currently the Administrative Director of Respiratory Care and Sleep Disorder Services at Staten Island University Hospital, a member of the NSLIJ Health System. I have over 18 years of experience in the Health Care Industry. I graduated from Long Island University with a BS degree in Respiratory Care. I continued my education at LIU and went on to receive my Master of Public Administration. I have worked in almost every setting in the health care system. My experience ranges from acute care to sub acute care, home care/ DME services, private Pulmonary offices, Sleep centers, and administration. I am active in the community via foundations such s the Maffeo Foundation / Kids against Cancer, where I am a board member. I have experience in maintaining sound budgets and raising money for various community health care organizations. I am a strong supporter of the AARC with regards to its mission and vision for the promotion of our profession. |

Clifford C Tracy BS, RRT-NPS I am a proud, professional, and extremely knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist with extensive experience working with patients of all ages in the critical care setting. My mission is to dedicate my time and energy to improve the outcome of all patients in need of respiratory care, especially those receiving mechanical ventilation, and particularly those patients with ARDS. I continuously strive to achieve a high level of skill and knowledge to accomplish my mission through continuing education above and beyond the minimum requirements. I also which to get involved and volunteer my time to work with my professional organizations, the AARC and the NYSSRC to assure that all RTs, Rt students, and new graduates in my area have adequate representation with the necessary resources and information to improve and grow as Respiratory Care Practitioners. |
